biological,
I initially studied Fine Art at Canterbury art college and then decided to spend the next 10 years working in the large-scale Music event industry, across England in the 90’s. I was primarily installing full immersive interactive spaces designed and constructed by myself. I went back to study Visual Performance at Dartington College of Arts in Devon, which lead to a focus on the methodologies and diagnostics of performance for my Masters. This began an arts-based practice underpinned by the daily experience of Life as an individual, and the opportunities for composition and construction, in every context we move through, and in every interaction, we have as human beings. I have created specifically designed performance for presentation within the visual arts context and operated as a technical production manager for on average 300 events a year, within the framework of the community Arts Centre. My practice recently has moved towards the synthesis of sound and its application to the Moving video Image. Recent performances in various spaces across the Northeast of Ireland have allowed the three-dimensional application of the Soundscape, through Audiovisual projection of light, across the performance space.
